Welcome! I have been involved in Hip Hop/Dance culture since the early eighties. I was born in Philadelphia and moved to Raleigh NC in 1979. I was heavily involved in B-Boying/Breaking. I was "Kid Lightning” I enjoyed the culture and positivity of the music from the 80s and early 90s. I stayed in the culture as MC Al Capone' then a DJ (Crush-Love then TLI), and then into producing my own original tracks. I put together a collaborative effort with all of my childhood friends and talented music colleagues called Twice Style,In Movement,Alias, then Deep Theory. Still working with Deep Theory and Christian Hip Hop Crew 40 Deep
I might also put up some spiritual things as well if I feel I want to share. Right now I am still orienting myself with the whole blog thing so this will be a work in progress. I will be sharing lots of original tracks and remixes that I have made in the past as well as current stuff I am working on now.
I would love to work with any vocalist out there who wants a very different twist to their acapella or song ideas. I stay focused on serving God now so I’m not about competition or trying to validate myself by getting “likes” or any other self serving thing I’m not about that. I just want to share my talent that god gave me with the world. Some of the tracks or remixes will be songs that are not Christian oriented but they are a part of my work since I started, and wanted to have a place where everything can be shown. Just like this blog God is working on me and my issues and sifting me day by day.I will have contact info up for serious groups or artist that want remixes/original production or just to collaborate on music. Music glorifying Jesus is also first and will remain till he takes me home, I won’t work with anyone who is negative and ignorant, just don’t have time for it. Anyway enough blab on with the fun stuff….
